Palm Sunday

“The Living Last Supper” is a powerful reenactment (held during our regular worship time 10:15am) resembles the Da Vinci painting called “The Last Supper”. The character of each disciple is based upon the Bible passages where each is mentioned. Invite a friend!

It’s Not to Late to Join our Vocal Ensemble

We will sing Sunday, March 28 during the presentation of the “Living Last Supper”

Rehearsals are every Sunday evening March 7 thru 21, 5-6PM.

What a great way to use your gifts to make a difference in the next 30 days! Contact Fawn Upright for more information – fawnup@yahoo.com

                                               Volunteer Meeting

Put your passion into gear! We’re looking for people with passion in various areas like painting, cooking, writing, drama, sports, etc.  You name it; we’ll use it!  Please come to an informational meeting on Monday, March 15 at 7:00 pm to see how use can share your gifting with others.   You’re welcome to stay for the organizational meeting that follows as we’re planning for an non-traditional VBS program on Wednesday nights in July.

Mailboxes- If you have been attending at Hempfield and would like to have a mailbox to receive important updates from the Leadership Team or for other members to communicate to you. Please contact the church office at 295-9800 so you can be assigned a mailbox.

Service/Outreach Connection

Prayer Shawls

The ladies in the Women’s Network have been working on making prayer shawls. If you would like to learn how to make one or know of someone that needs one please contact Jo Burnett.

Greeters Needed

Here is a great way to get to know others and an opportunity to serve. We are currently in need of Sunday Morning Greeters to fill our fall schedule. If you are at least 15 years old and have a friendly smile and handshake – then you qualify to serve in this way. We usually schedule 3 persons to greet in the foyer from 9:50 – 10:15 a.m. each Sunday. Couples can serve together or separately. In the past we’ve scheduled on a monthly basis but are willing to adjust to a weekly basis, if that works better for you. Please contact Joyce at 684-0077 or 413-8328 to volunteer.
