Welcome to Upward Soccer at Hempfield Brethren in Christ Church! We’re committed to providing the best sports experience for every child. That is why we’re partnering with Upward Sports™ and offering a soccer league for children Ages 4 to Grade 5. Each child will learn the fundamentals of soccer, use drills to emphasis skill development, and understand that winning is more than a game.

Upward Sports provides a place for healthy competition among athletes. It seeks to develop not just skills, but character. Every child is important to us, and everyone has a place on the team.

Spring 2012 registration Information
Ages 4 to Grade 5
Soccer shorts are included in the registration cost.
Please make checks payable to HBIC.
Regular cost is $80 per child; $75 for each additional child
Deadline for registration EXTENDED: Saturday, February 25th
League Schedule:
Practices begin the week of March 26th
First Game - Saturday, April 14th
Awards Celebration - Tuesday, June 5th

Evaluation Days
Upward Soccer uses the Evaluation Day as a tool to help ensure the fairest and most evenly distributed teams. This is not a tryout session! Your child will be on a team regardless of his/her performance at Evaluation Day. However, we do require each child to participate. During Evaluation Day, players be sized for their uniforms, parents will receive valuable information about the league, and it's a fun way to get excited about the upcoming season. Evaluation Days for the Spring 2012 season are:
Friday, February 24th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday February 25th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
All evaluations take place at the Hempfield Brethren in Christ Church gym, located behind the building just off the Running Pump Rd. entrance.

PARENTS: If you already registered your child, please click on the Welcome Letter (to the right) with other important information and reminders that you might want to know. If not, make sure to pre-register below or mail in your brochure and payment to get your child on a team.
