| Hempfield Church is truly a gathering of people from many backgrounds. Those of us who grew up in church come from a wide variety of denominations. Many of us had no church history at all. That makes us a unique blend of people eagerly seeking to grow spiritually and to learn from God and from one another.
While we are part of the Brethren in Christ cluster of churches, we continue to have a heart for people from every walk of life. We believe we are called by God to lead people to experience His intimate presence in worship. We are called to bring a balanced, acceptable approach to the gifts of the Spirit. We also are called to minister to the community with the love and compassion of Jesus. We have a heart for you! We have a heart for hurting people and desire to be God’s healing agents. We especially have a heart for people who don’t yet know Jesus.
